Meet Your Teacher

Anyone can learn French with the right guidance.

I help people learn French from the very basics all the way to advanced levels, so they can use the language independently in daily life, at work and in their community. For many of my students, French is also the key to protecting their immigration status in Canada and moving toward permanent residency.

Classes run in small batches and are explained in English, Punjabi or Hindi, depending on what feels most comfortable for the group. That way grammar makes sense the first time, and nobody gets left behind.

All four modules of the language, speaking, reading, writing and listening, are practiced and discussed in every level. You receive the materials and sources you need, and recorded sessions are available whenever you have to miss a class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything new learners ask before we begin.

How classes work, which level to choose and what to expect before your first lesson.

Yes. The A1 class starts from the very beginning: sounds, greetings, articles and the most useful verbs. Many of my learners began with zero French and went on to pass the TEF or TCF.

Explanations are given in English, Punjabi or Hindi, depending on the comfort level of the students in the group. Practice is in French, but every rule is explained in a language you already understand.

Classes run in small batches so every learner gets time to speak, ask questions and receive feedback. If you prefer full personal attention, individual sessions are available for TEF and TCF preparation.

Recorded sessions are available in case of absence. You can review the full lesson before the next class so you stay on track with your group.

I prepare learners for the TEF Canada and the TCF Canada, the French tests accepted for Canadian immigration. Preparation covers all four sections: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Send me a message with what you have studied before and your goal. I will ask a few quick questions and recommend the right level, A1, A2 or B1 + B2, or individual exam coaching.

Yes. All kinds of support materials and sources are provided: grammar sheets, vocabulary lists, reading and listening practice, writing prompts and exam-style tests.

Yes, classes run live online so you can join from anywhere in Canada. Contact me to ask about current schedules.
